Why IGCSE matters

US universities read every grade from Grade 9. IGCSE is that record.

The transcript starts early

Admissions officers review the full academic record from Grade 9. IGCSE results are the first hard numbers on it.

Rigour is visible

A* grades across demanding subjects signal readiness for A Level, the IB Diploma and the coursework that follows.

The UK reads them too

Oxford, Cambridge and leading UK universities look closely at GCSE and IGCSE grades when shortlisting.

Questions

What parents ask us.

Is this for students who are struggling?

No. ZenSquare's online IGCSE programme is advanced tutoring for students already scoring A or B who want A*. If your child needs to catch up, we will tell you honestly after the diagnostic.

Do Ivy League universities really look at IGCSE grades?

US universities review the full academic record from Grade 9 onwards, and for IGCSE students those exam results are the first hard numbers on it. UK universities, including Oxford and Cambridge, also look closely at GCSE and IGCSE grades. Strong grades do not guarantee admission, but weak ones close doors early.

How do online classes work?

Live classes with a specialist tutor, 1:1 or in a small batch. Timings are agreed after the diagnostic, and families visiting Marthandam can also attend at our centre.

Which boards do you cover?

Cambridge IGCSE and Pearson Edexcel International GCSE, with continuity into AS and A Level and the IB Diploma.

What does the free diagnostic involve?

A short assessment and a conversation with a subject tutor. You leave with a clear read of your child's level and a plan, whether or not you enrol.

Do you guarantee A* grades?

No one honest can. We guarantee the method: diagnostic, plan, past papers, mocks and monthly reports, delivered by specialist tutors.
